How to Find The Best Endometriosis Self Help Program

Written by Kyle J. Norton

Endometriosis is a Chronic condition that afflicts over 5 millions women between 20- 40 years old age group in the US alone and increases rapidly in the world population, especially in Asia. It is caused by environmental toxins, unhealthy diet, and recent economical prosperity. During menstruation, the menstrual lining in the inside of the uterus is expelled known as menstruation blood but instead some of the endometriosis tissues growing somewhere else in the body causes endometriosis.
Endometriosis is treatable and manageable by natural remedies and a self help course, if you have endometroisis, please look at the bright side. Here are some essential conditions to find the best endometriosis self help program.

1. Qualification of the writer
Since conventional treatment has some success in treating endometriosis but without some side effects, qualification of the author becomes importance. It not only gives you the confidence to follow the program, but it also let's you know that the author also understands the conventional treatment and its side effect. I, myself prefer people with extensive experience in fields of diets and have been working for years with conventional medication and specializing in endometriosis such as dietitian, RN specializing in nutritional supplements, and alternative medicine.

2. Program written must pin point the treatment
The program should pin point the author intentions. How exactly will the program help ??
How long will it take ?? What types of treatment will you get??

3. Details of diagnosis
The program must also pin point each symptoms and causes. Since each woman experiences endometriosis uniquely, the treatment must also be designed specifically and uniquely for each of them.

4. Exact dosage must be given

Most endometriosis health sites only provide general information and for education purposes, it is hard to find any of them with specific dosage of treatment. For paid self help programs, it should provide exactly how much you should take and when is the best time to take them.

5. Must not alter much of the living style
Starting a new program is not easy. Some self help programs require you to change your diet or life style completely, this is a no-no for a self help program. Since our body requires time to adjust for any changes in the diet, abruptly changing your diet may do more harm than good. The best program should be one that makes you understand how the change will do in treating your disease and give you time to achieve that goal slowly.

6. Diet must be included in the treatment program
Using nutritional supplements or herbs are helpful in treating endometriosis. Without daily intake of healthy food, the program may not work effectively and the time required for the treatment may take longer.

7. Side effects must be included in the treatment
Some herbs may have some mild side effects, if taken in large doses or for a prolong period of time. The best self help program should also address that as well.

8. Given time length for improvement
Nutritional supplements and herbs may need time to take effect, but you will feel improvement within few days of treatment. The author should be able to tell you that.

9. Program must be written in daily English and is understandable for the purchaser
Program should be written in easy understanding daily English, you don't want to have a dictionary with you every time you read the program. Technical and medical term should only be used when it is necessary.

10. Refund policy
Even with the best self help program, it may not work for all women. Be sure you buy from one that has been in business for many years, with good reputations and offers at least 8 weeks refund guaranteed.

I hope this information will help and good luck on your treatment.

1. Endometriosis I - What is Endometriosis ?
During the last stage of the menstrual cycle, normally a layer of endometriosis lining on the inside of the uterus is expelled, known as menstruation blood which instead some of the endometriosis tissues grows somewhere in the body causing endometriosis. They also react to hormone signals of the monthly menstrual cycle, builds up tissue, breaks it and eliminates it through menstrual period.

2. Endometriosis II - What Causes Endometriosis ??
The retrograde menstruation theory suggests that during menstruation the blood flows backward instead of outward causing menstrual blood to go through the fallopian tubes to the pelvic and abdominal cavity, resulting in blood embedding on the outside of the uterus into other tissues and organs causing endometrosis.

3. Endometriosis III - Symptoms of Endometrosis
Endometrosis located somewhere other than in the uterus rupturing during menstruation. Since the blood cannot escape, it retents in our body causing damage to the organs or any part of the body hosting the endometroisis resulting in severe pain toward the end of the period.

4. Endometriosis IV - How Endometriosis Affects Women's Life
Women with endometriosis in certain regions of the body suffer from pain at least several days in a month just before and during menstruation causing the loss of productive activity as well as reducing the chance of advancement. Co-workers who have to cover her work without understanding the symptoms of endometriosis will likely feel resentment resulting in emotional depression. Study shows that endometriosis causes 41% of women to give up or lose their jobs due to illness.

5. Endometriosis V - How Endometriosis Effects On Abdominal and Pelvic Pain
Normal chronic pelvic pain refers to any pain in your pelvic region (the area below your bellybutton and between your hips) lasting more than six months. In case of endometriosis at the final stage of the menstrual cycle period, endometrial tissue swells and bleeds, just like the lining of your uterus causing pain and scar tissue, and adhesion forming in your pelvic area resulting in the tissue and organ near the endometrosis being covered. Any movement of these constricted organs can cause severe pain.

6. Endometriosis VI - How Endometriosis Effects on the Reproductive System
Infertility is always difficult for women with endometriosis. In fact depending on the stage of endometroisis and where endometriosis implants in the body, some women may not even get pregnant at all if they are on the last stage of endometroisis and the cysts is located in the fallopian tubes, ovaries, and uterus because of the enlarged endometrosis cysts not only causing inflammation but also interfering with each stage of the menstrual cycle. In general, women with endometriosis find it harder to become pregnant than other women.

7. Endometriosis VII - Effects of Endometriosis On Irregular menstruation
Variable amount of bleeding either heavy or scanty is normal for menarche and perimenopause as the menstrual cycle is initiated and during a woman 's forties until menopause accordingly because of imbalance of estrogen and progesterone. In endometriosis, heavy and scanty are caused by over production of certain hormones in the prostaglandin hormonal family that control the aggregation or disaggregation of platelets.

8. Endometriosis VIII - Effects of Endometriosis On The Digestive System
Defecation is the final act of digestion by which organisms eliminate waste material from digestive tract via the anus. Constipation is caused by endometriosis implants or adhesion are attached to organs of excretion resulting of painful urinate as well as defecation.

9. Endometriosis IX - Effects of Endometriosis On Urinary Diseases
Normally irregular urination in adults is caused pressure of a fetus on the bladder of a pregnant woman or losing muscle of the badder causing feel like to go to the bathroom. In woman with endometriosis, it is caused by endometrial implants or adhesion in the badder region, that increase the pressure to the urinary system resulting in irregular urination.

10.
Endometriosis X - Effects of Endometriosis on Women Emotional State
Depression is a illness that not only affects the woman with endometriosis but also her family, work or school life, sleeping and eating habits, and general health. It is caused by lower level of good estrogen and high level of progesterone and the symptom get worse before and during menstruation. Misunderstood by co workers and family and friends may trigger the feeling of worthlessness and loss of interest in daily activity such as hobbies and sex.

11. Endometriosis 11 - Hormonal Symptoms Of Endometriosis
Hot flashes also known as hot flushes, is a feeling of intense heat with sweating and rapid heartbeat, and may typically last from two to thirty minutes for each occurrence, normally happening only to women in the menopause stage. Woman with endometriosis may also experience some sources of hot flashes caused by hormone imbalance and tends to occur only during times of menstruation as resulting of more progesterone produced by the purity gland and low levels of good estrogen in the body. Intake of soy rich foods will help to reduce symptoms of hot flashes.

12. Endometriosis 12 - Cardiovascular Symptoms of Endometriosis
Women with endometriosis may experience breathlessness caused by heavy blood flow that depletes the storage of iron and other necessary substances, resulting in less oxygen and nutrition needed to re-nourish the body's cells as the heart has to work harder to pump blood. Intake of food with rich sources of iron such as spinach and broccoli during menstrual cycle is said to help, reduce, or get rid of this symptom.

14. Endometriosis 14 - What Exhibits Inflammation to Cause Endometriosis ?
Retrograde menstruation means that during menstruation, blood flows backwards instead of forwards causing menstrual blood to go through the fallopian tubes and gain access to the pelvic and abdominal cavity, resulting in inflammation. Endometrial lining sheds now may attach to the abdominal region forming implants or adhesion if the body's defenses cannot get rid of them.

15. Endometriosis 15- What Exhibits Coelomic Metaplasia to Cause Endometriosis?
Xenoestrogen is the bad estrogen entering our body from the foods we eat everyday. They are by-products of manufacturing processes. During the surge of estrogen at the beginning of menstrual cycle, over-production of xenoestrogen causes hormone imbalance resulting in over-stimulation of certain hormones, causing some of the cells of the peritoneum developing into endometrial cells.

16. Endometriosis 16- What Exhibits Congenital or Embryonic Rest to Cause Endometriosis?
During the embryonic stage, if the mother has a sudden surge of estrogen or high estrogen levels for a prolonged period of time causing low levels of progesterone that is necessary for nourishing the fetus resulting in defection of cell development. Some of the endometrial cells may develop irregularly in the abdomen.

17. Endometriosis 17- Xenoestrogen and Endometriosis
Our body tries to get rid of environmental toxins everyday through our liver and digestive system. Environmental toxins may come from food intake, air that we breath, or contact through skin. Overdosing of these types of toxins cause hormonal imbalance resulting in xenoestrogens disrupting the process of reproduction system, increasing the risk of endometriosis.

18. Endometriosis 18- How Environmental Toxins Cause Endometriosis
Environmental toxins enter our body stimulating the production of certain hormones. It may cause high levels of estrogen during menstrual cycle elevating the activity of endometriosis.

19. Endometriosis 19- What Exhibits Lymphatic Transplantation to Cause Endometriosis?
Most birth control pills are used to depress the production of estrogen, thereby reducing the side effects of menstruation disorder causing hormonal imbalance and nutritional deficiency as well as dilation of vein increasing the movement of endometrial tissue into the veins.

20. Endometriosis 20- What Exhibits Hormonal Imbalance to Cause Endometriosis?
Xenoestrogens are harmful man-made products that interfere with the production of natural estrogen in a woman's body. Too much xenoestrogen increases symptoms during the mense as well as increasing the risk of endometriosis.

21. Endometriosis 21- What Exhibits Iatrogenic Origin to Cause Endometriosis?
Also birth control pills, besides contributing to thinning of the endometrial lining, it also cause the blood vessel to dilate, increasing the risk of retrograde menstruation and endometrial implantation leading to endometriosis after the pill has stopped. Study shows that infertility medication causes 57% of women to develop endometriosis.

22. Endometriosis 22- Types of Diagnosis
Diagnostic cystoscopy is usually carried out with local anaesthesia. The cystoscope is as thick as a pencil and has a light at the tip. It helps your doctor to see inside of urethra, ureters and bladder and check for existence of endometriosis cysts.

23. Endometriosis 23- Diagnostic Sonography
Ultrasonography is defined as a diagnostic imaging technique that uses high frequency sound waves to create a picture of our body internal organs including tendons, muscles, joints, vessels.

24. Endometriosis 24- What is Diagnosis Culdocentesis in Endometriosis?
In order to take a fluid sample to test for endometriosis, after a pelvic examination the health technician will grasp the cervix with a medical instrument and lift it slightly then a long, thin needle is inserted through the wall of the vagina. If the fluid is present then it will be examined.

25. Endometriosis 25- What is Diagnostic Cystoscopy in Endometriosis ?
The urethra is a tube that carries urine from the bladder to the outside of the body. The cystoscope has lenses like a telescope or microscope that can help the doctor to see the image from the tip at the screen at the other end.

26. Endometriosis 26- What is Diagnostic Hysteroscopy in Endometriosis ?
Hysteroscopy is an examination that involves inserting a narrow medical scope through the cervical opening to provide a visual inspection of the cervical canal and uterine cavity.

27. Endometriosis 27- What is Computed axial tomograghy (CT scanning or CAT) in Ednometriosis?
Some researchers say there are no risk because of minimum exposure for radiation, but the American Cancer Society’s director of screening estimate that 2 percent of future cancers may be due to CT scanning.

28.
Endometriosis 28- What is Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in Ednometriosis ?
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) also known as nuclear magnetic resonance imaging (NMRI), is a medical imaging technique used in radiology to provide detailed pictures of the organs and structures in the body. It is considered as a better medical technique than X ray imaging and useful for looking at the uterus and abdomen for tumors and abnormalities.

29.
Endometriosis 29- What is Electron beam tomography (EBT) in Endometriosis ?
While traditional CT scanning technology, the X-ray source-point moves along a circle in space around your body to take images, electron beam tomograghy (EBT), the X-ray tube is large and stationary,electron-beam focal point is swept electronically along a tungsten anode in the tube with person to lie on the table while the scan is performed.

Mr. Norton,

Thank you for taking your time and energy to write about endo, a very common disease that few people understand. Unfortunately, your blog highlights several inaccuracies that go against current medical research. For instance, there is NO CURE for endo. There is also no known cause for the condition. As someone who has lived with the chronic pain of endo for 18 years, and has tried all the treatments on the market (natural and pharmaceutical) I can assure you that the disease continues to be a part of my daily life. Your readers would be best served with accurate information, but that is just my opinion.

Hi,Melissa
You are right according to conventional medicine. You must know synthesis hormone used in conventional medication have produced many side effects while traditional medicine do not or little side effects. I have read the entire series, there is no place where Mr. Norton indicated that endometrioisis can be cured. I believe you were reading the advertisement link. Have you ever read the E book by Shelly Ross as she suggested that You can get off ENDOMETRIOSIS once for all?? Please be fair to the author. Read entire series before making anu judgement
